Another amazing week in A/V (aren’t they all?) and we’re excited to share all the goodness with you. Let’s dive in.

Shure just understands virtual collaboration and wants A/V Managers to understand the lifecycles of their tech. Not everything has to be changed at once, which can be daunting. This one is a quick read (2-3 minutes max) and will help bring down the anxiety over equipment upgrading.

Another gem from Shure’s Facebook, showing off the SLX-D Wireless in ways that you’ve got to see to believe!

Bringing new meaning to the term “field test,” we are loving this SLX-D video from Performer Magazine and WYO!

If you haven’t checked out the SKMac Sessions yet, it isn’t too late! In this episode, Samantha Potter and Kevin Madden really explain how integrators can use the AHM-64 to quickly create entire systems that can scale to any scope.

Let’s start this one with a statement of fact:  We love podcasts. So much so, that we are looking for Florida’s Finest Podcast and putting up $1,500 to find it, so if you or someone you know is podcasting in and around Florida, send them this link, because our Podcast Contest has just begun!

Then, take a look at the Podbean/Shure collab, which really offers some guidance on the best podcast microphone. Spoiler alert:  Laura Davidson with Shure is using the MV7 and sounds incredible.

Projecting images and video on buildings is probably the highest level of visual cool and Barco’s UDX projectors are up to the task.

The Super Bowl is typically the yearly highlight for sports lovers; but it’s also always an amazing feat of technology…

We loved seeing DJs all across the country talking about how they kept the music flowing through the pandemic. QSC’s dedication to DJs is amazing and encouraging during these trying times. And while Facebook won’t let us embed the video for copyright reasons, you can get there by clicking here.

Here’s another link from QSC’s Facebook that is worth a view because Scary Pockets (a funky band) does a worthy version of Single Ladies and we absolutely respect the beautiful mix of the rooftop performance and the QSC K10.2 Floor Monitor. The band sounds amazing and can keep that vibe flowing because they hear everything with amazing clarity.

Hosa showing love to Sarah Longfield’s performance at NAMM is definitely worth a quick watch as well:

If you have the Shure SLX-D, BLXR, GLXDR, SLX, QLX-D or ULX-D, you’re going to want to take a look at this incredible SKB Case. This really makes us think of Ace Ventura’s epic line when he was parking, because it fits…

We have to admit some marketing jealousy over this creative graphic from DAS. We had the pleasure of touring their Miami facility and just love the More Bass, Less Space mentality.

Sticking with DAS for a moment, we just wanted you to see this awesome line array in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We’re suckers for a good unboxing, so checking out Christopher Neto’s Barco Click Share CX-50 made sense.

Scalable solutions is literally what every office needs right now, so when Salamander Designs offered this helpful graphic, you know we had to drop it here for you.

There isn’t a better way to end this week’s social than a feel-good story. Shure started nearly 100 years ago and has become the global leader in audio. It’s an epic story and they tell the story in an amazing way. So, that’s it for this week. See you next week!
